Supine Shoulder Press

Supine shoulder press strengthens the muscles behind the shoulders and arms, and helps improve posture by opening up the shoulders and chest.

Set up

Begin lying on your back with both knees bent, feet flat on the floor, and arms down by your sides with palms facing up.

Gently press the backs of your shoulders downward towards the floor. Hold for 5 seconds. Relax.

  • Relax your neck. Imagine opening up your collarbone area.
