our workouts STRENGTHEN YOUR

Quadriceps

Learn more about the quadriceps and how to strengthen them using our expert curated exercises.

The quadriceps are among the largest muscles in the body, spanning from the front of the hip to just below the kneecap. This muscle is considered a two joint muscle and is responsible for flexing (or bending) the hip and extending (or straightening) the knee. You use your quads for many daily activities such as standing, walking, going up and down stairs, and getting up and down from a chair or toilet seat. Tight quadriceps can contribute to hip, knee or low back pain.
